After entertaining the Filipino people for 40 years, APO Hiking Society will finally say goodbye to the music industry. Jim, Danny, and Boboy will be performing for the last time as a group this year as they go from one city to another, thanking their fans for the years of support and bidding them farewell.
By the end of this month, the trio will be holding one of their farewell concerts at the Music Museum, Greenhills, San Juan City. So, if you’re not doing anything on any of these dates: May 27, 28, 29, and if you miss APO’s classic songs, such as Awit ng Barkada, Batang Bata Ka Pa, Nakapagtataka, Pumapatak Ang Ulan, Show Me A Smile, and Yakap Sa Dilim, then call up Music Museum and reserve a ticket today. Remember, you’ll never get to watch them perform live with these songs again.
Grab a friend, and enjoy the experience of slowly rocking your bodies to these old, classy tunes. Apo Hiking Society has been one of those bands that have offered what I will call beautiful OPM through the decades, and this year, as they say goodbye, I want to say thank you…
Thank you for bringing us good music, and we will remember and play your songs for years to come.
