As of 7:57 this morning, with 88.547% of the votes in, the partial unofficial results showed that Noynoy and Binay are still leading with 13.5 million and 13.2 million votes, respectively. Erap, who’s second right now in the presidential race has a total of 8.6 million while Roxas who’s second right now for vice president has a total of 12.4 million. The gap between Roxas and Binay keeps on widening as time goes on. The list of the top 12 senators remains to be the same as yesterday.
So, does this mean that whoever’s winning now will be the final winners? Stay tuned. The race is not yet over. Some things may still change although we really doubt that. The chance for the results to change is very slim but the figures can more or close in the gaps.
But, really, we more or less know who the winners are. All we are waiting for are the final figures.
So, as early as now, let me already congratulate the next government officials!
Even though my bets didn’t win, I’m not bitter about the results. Please return after the results have been publicly announced for my post about the winning candidates and certain views about the elections. 🙂
