You may have heard of runs for the environment or for certain other causes, but next month, we heard that there is going to be a run for the first bottle school. So, what exactly is this run for a bottle school? Basically, it’s about reconstructing damaged schools with your contributed 1.5- or 2- liter bottles. These will be used as hollow blocks and cement to rebuild school walls that have been destroyed by super typhoons.
By joining the “Bottle School Run” on June 13 at Bonifacio NBC Tent where you are asked to bring as many 1.5 and 2 liter bottles as you can [that is at least 2 bottles], you can be a part of building our country’s first bottle school, that is in Marikina Village, Taguig City. You can register at any of the following Planet Sports branches: Trinoma, Glorietta 3, and Alabang Town Center. The registration fee is P200 for the 3K run, and P300 for the 5K and 10K run, so if you have all the energy and stamina, better go for the 10K run. It’s good for the country, and it’s also good for your health, so see? You can actually hit two birds with one stone!
Get fit while helping children who want to study but don’t have the classrooms to have their lessons conducted!
If you’re not doing anything on June 13, I really highly encourage you to join. This is something you don’t get to do everyday, and I’m sure you want to do something for your fellow Filipinos, especially the less fortunate.
